Knee - Conclusion?

My physio says he doesn't need to see me anymore. that was after putting me thru some tests which resulted in me having a slightly sore knee today. this concludes what have been a very crazy one and a half year going thru an operation, going thru rehab and now, i guess i'm sorta released from the painful nightmare.

or am i?

within the next year, he said i would have a higher probability of having a 'relapse' or destroying all my surgeon's and physio's hard work. i mean, it was a nightmare going thru all the hassle of the operation, the rehab (no, it was not easy) and yes, the pain.

i realised i'm also not mentally ready to fully use my right knee, and would still rely alot on my left knee. which brings me to another problem. over relying on my left knee, and possibly injuring it as well. back when i was still on crutches, this was very evident. i was straining my left knee to keep myself up and yes, i could feel it a little. i just hope my left knee stays strong. o_O

and yes, i did say i'm not mentally ready to use my right knee. very evident when i was put thru some "exercises" by my physio. imagine this. using one leg, and lifting your other leg behind you at a 90° angle, jump as far as possible as you can. it took some hesitation before i could actually jump using my right leg. i guess, anyone would hold back, and yes, i am still very worried of my knee.

athritic pain. yes. i still feel it. sigh. not as much but yes, it's still there.

and looking back, i can't say that this was an experience i will forget. cos i'll still be constantly reminded by that half smiling knee of mine.

father and son

just a question.

If you had a child, say 2-3 years old, and you are at this restaurant. you find out that you don't have enough cash and this restaurant does not accept EFTPOS. you have a trolley of groceries as well. would you leave your kid at the restaurant to head to a nearest ATM to withdraw cash?

this happened yesterday. this indian father left his son at the restaurant to withdraw cash. and he left his grocery trolley as well. i mean, which father would leave their kid there? leaving his son at the hands of the restaurant staff. at first everything was fine and dandy. then the kid realised that his father was gone for far too long. started tearing and crying. and running out the restaurant. *stunned* one of the waitress started running after the kid to stop him from doing stupid stuff like running onto the street and getting hit. thank God his father came back just in time.

crazy stuff for a supposedly routine dinner. that begs a question. would you leave your kid at a restaurant looked after by only the staff?

Not only humans use the ATM...
